Some people have been talking about life-changing occurrences in the last months, so why haven’t you?
Yesterday I talked about having to do the ‘inner work’
And each time you sit on your cushion and let go of thoughts, you are changing your brain.
These changes happen slowly
Most of the time you don’t even notice the teeny tiny shifts because they are so small
All of a sudden all of these micro movements add up to something tangible, and you begin to feel different. But you can’t quite put your finger on whats changed, like seeing the world through glasses with stronger lenses than you’re used to; what you’re seeing is the same, but you are viewing it differently.
Change comes slowly
The brain needs to gradually alter as it cannot cope with dramatic variance
This is why meditation is such a wonderful environment for this germination of dreams to occur
A certain stability is achieved
Life comes into focus
Everything becomes easier
And all of a sudden you realise that you’ll never be the same again
So please don’t worry
Know that change IS happening
Even if it is not yet visible
Do the work
Sit on your cushion
Trust the process
Connect with your heart
And then soon your head will catch up
Your brains minuscule adjustments building up until the path is very clear….
