His Holiness Dalai Lama

I’d like to share with you the answer that His Holiness gave when asked in an interview what surprised him most. Think about his answer today as you go about your business; have YOU got life back to front? What are YOUR priorities?

“Man surprised me most about humanity.
Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

I think many of us are probably guilty of this; living for tomorrow and putting off what we could do today:
‘When the kids grow up’
‘One more drink’
‘Tomorrow’
‘I’ll work in this job that I hate until next year’
So let me ask you this,

That Would Change The Course Of The Rest Of Your Life?
