What Did I Do Last Night? 😩

Daily Motivation 337

I had a flashback
One of those heart stopping moments when you know that something awful happened, but you were so drunk you can’t remember
Did I shout at someone?
Make a fool of myself?
Get kicked out of a pub?
I KNEW that something hideous had happened, but just couldn’t put my finger on it

I cast my mind back
Desperately reaching for snapshots of the evening before to find a clue
I call this ‘the horrors’

My heart missed a beat and then I realised that it was a flashback
Not real
Nothing bad had occurred
And a surge of relief washed over me

My morning routine consists of throwing on some yoga clothes first thing, making tea, and then beginning to write this blog, so the flashback happened in a deep subconscious state; I was hardly awake. I can’t remember what I was dreaming about just before awaking, but it must have been about drinking!

I certainly do not miss these kinds of mornings
And I had so many of them over my long drinking career
But now with 1,755 sober mornings under my belt, yesterdays flashback was a shock; took me straight back to where I was five years ago, and it wasn’t pretty

My point here is that YOU can change your reality around 180 too
I woke up most mornings in that state
And back then I really couldn’t see a way out; couldn’t imagine a world where I had 1,755 HAPPILY sober days under my belt;

BECAUSE I’D NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE

So you do have to take a leap of faith
You do have to take my word for it
IT IS POSSIBLE
Anything is
Whatever your demon is right now
There is another side to the situation
So what is the best outcome for this facet of your life?
If you could have anything, what would it be?
Bring the image up in your mind….
….and then JUMP into it
Believe it
Know that it is yours

This is the very work we’ll be doing today in the QS Manifestation Workshop
I can’t wait to share this with the group later!
We are going to manifest our dreams…..

Member Quote Of The Day:

In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

❝Wonderful to make new friends on the same journey. And to hear the retreat changed your life. I know we have to do the work, but it’s great not to journey alone anymore, so I am so glad to have posted on the forum. I have felt very isolated. Look forward to meeting you! xxx❞
