We made it up to make sense of this world
We created clocks and watches and all ‘time’ keeping devices
But ‘time’ DOESN’T exist
Past, present and future are illusions
What we call ‘time’ moves more outwards;
Not forwards as we generally perceive
For me I read books and watched movies about this, but only truly understood it experientially through meditation and its effect on my life. Let me explain….
Everyones biggest conundrum concerning their meditation practice is
FINDING THE TIME TO DO IT
Resonate with that?
When do you fit it in?
Do you get up 15 minutes earlier, sacrificing your warm cosy bed?
Or do you try and squeeze it into lunchtime, evening, or just before bedtime?
And because there is not enough TIME to meditate it is not a priority
Therefore, it does not get done
When we have this attitude to it nothing really changes in our life for we are constantly chasing our tails, and trying to ‘fit’ everything into our busy lives
For me this is the ultimate paradox
If you do make time for it everyday
Then you will begin to see
That EVERYTHING in your life changes BECAUSE of it
I will be talking about this on a livestream tonight as it is so hard to explain it in words, so I hope that between this blog AND the livestream I will be able to do the subject some justice!
I’ll give you an example….
You wake up every morning and whether you are going to work or getting the kids ready for school, there is a lot to do with the deadline looming. You can either:
- Get up 30 minutes earlier than usual to meditate and feel calm and relaxed
- Get up at the usual time and be overcome with stress
Example 1 person is going to experience an EXPANSION of time because their whole day will be different from Example 2 person, who will feel a SHRINKAGE of time.
The Example 1 scenario means that EVERYTHING that you approach looks different; there has been a shift in perception, so it is like this person is viewing the world and every situation with a pair of glasses; enhanced, heightened, brighter, easier.
In Example 2 there is no space to notice the magic
No ability to step into the observer role and let go of stress
Example 1 = expanded, bright, open, receptive
Example 2 = blind, inhibited, shut down, overwhelmed
When I am in an Example 1 place I can get MORE done in LESS time
When I am in an Example 2 place I flap around forever, achieving NOTHING
This is how time really works = OUTWARDS
This is what it truly means to do the ‘inner work’
For when we are connected to source, all that matters is what vibration you are holding in that very moment; for what happens next is in relation to it.
➤ Two people holding contrasting vibrations in the same situation will have different experiences
➤ You will make various choices depending on how you are feeling in that moment. So acting from a stressed frequency will lead to a altered outcome to you choosing from a place of calm
This is such good news because it means that we can CHANGE EVERYTHING!
I’ve given you the example of how this knowledge has affected my life
And I’ve done this through the medium of meditation
By meditating first thing we sow seeds of how we want our day to go
We clear the ground and get ready for anything
I know that my day is enhanced BECAUSE I do this
And on days that I don’t meditate first thing, I feel out of sorts and the door is left open for stress to push its way in.
Take ‘time’ away
And replace it with intention
How do you want your day to go?
Begin everyday thinking about it, setting the scene, and by doing so you just changed the outcome….
