Sometimes it’s difficult to sit there
Struggling
Tears falling down your face
Sometimes it’s boring to sit there
Fidgeting
Mind wandering all over the place
Sometimes it’s painful to sit there
In agony
But can we release into meditations embrace
Sometimes we feel vulnerable as we sit there
Exposed
For there is no hiding place
But can we find the bravery to sit there
In our truth
And be willing to sit face to face
With whatever is there
Right now
In this moment of time
For you ARE ready
Otherwise you wouldn’t be in this space
Member Quote Of The Day.
In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:
❝I had bit of a spending spree recently. Nothing big – just cheap unnecessary rubbish. I’d been feeling low and emotional so binged on chocolate covered raisins and bought crap off amazon (a company I try to avoid). Did it help? Of course not! I was unconsciously looking for a quick fix for some deep-rooted sadness which has been plaguing me of late and I’d had enough of. I’m not remotely tempted to drink but other lesser demons came into play.
I’m not a even a shopper – I find it boring and a little bit repulsive when we have so much and so many in the world are starving. I should, of course, have sat with it and upped my meditation practice.❞
