The Two Mistakes You Can Make 😖

Daily Motivation 243

Every Wednesday I am sharing some WOW’s with you; my teachers; my influences and who I am inspired by.
I hope you enjoy!

“There are only two mistakes one can make on the road to truth: not going all the way, and and not starting”

When I first heard this quote I instantly thought about how it relates to addiction.
For it is so easy to say, “I’ll stop tomorrow”
I must have said that a million times over the years!

We begin in ignorance of all that is possible for us to achieve
Ending up with clarity
And in between those two places there can be a very long journey.

Please do not put off today what you say you’ll do tomorrow
For NOW is the ONLY time

And I believe us ‘addicts’ do have an upper hand in the ‘going all the way’ bit, for when we do something (anything) we do it fully. So really all we have to focus on is BEGINNING; taking that first step, for once you do and you start to witness yourself fully (inner wisdom) then there really is no going back. Another example of why addicts are the lucky ones, and how we can use what the mainstream would believe is a weakness as a strength…

Member Quote Of The Day.

In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

“We have the ability to release addictions grip on our dreams” *
I believe this now. I didn’t at first. What changed my mind was very first trigger meditation and the powerful internal “No!” that immediately made itself known when I was asked to put the unwanted substance back inside me. It was a quantum leap. The realisation that this stuff and how it made me feel was UNWANTED!
I learned to slow down and focus on simple things like my breath, through meditation. I learned to notice and appreciate nature, things outside myself and the self-critical soundtrack on repeat in my mind. I learned to focus on what I DO want and gradually bring those things to fruition.
