Daily Motivation 259
When we are open, accountable, connected and communicating well with ourselves and those around us then we are not going to be triggered to harm ourselves.
If we recoil from life
Pull away from those that have got our backs
Withdrawal from our truth, then it is much easier to fall into damaging ways.
Can you pinpoint your weak spots?
Do you know what creates a trigger?
It could be tiredness, family arguments, weekends, eating bad, bad news, the kids playing up etc
AND do you have a plan for when you do have a trigger?
Perhaps you reach out to someone?
Maybe you have written a letter to yourself for such a trigger?
Many reach out to the QS community at this point
YOU HAVE TO HAVE A PLAN
YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING IN PLACE
YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO
So that if/when a trigger comes along, it does not knock you off your feet
For sometimes three or four things on the above list might come along, at the same time, and in this instance you’ve got to be rock solid in your resolve
It’s all in the preparation
So what are YOU putting in place TODAY to ensure that this weekend will remain a sober one?
This is the discussion that we’re having in the online programme today; the focus on a Friday that gets us strong enough for anything….
