Last weekend we had our first QS Guide Gathering, the first of many, where we got to know each other a little better and discussed how we can take this approach further; in our own particular and unique ways.
What really struck me as we did a livestream into the private QS group was that when the online programme began on 1st February 2016 I was pretty much the ONLY sober person, whereas now there are many. It was really powerful as we added up how many hours of sobriety there were sitting on that one sofa; 231 months calculates as over 19 years of sobriety!, and is testament to how far the programme has come in the last 20 months.
To become a QS Guide you need at least nine months of sobriety (so that you have ‘birthed’ it), and a clear and deep understanding of the concept of FREEDOM in your sobriety. Quantum Sobriety begins with an addiction to a substance, and then transcends that to evolve into a ‘School Of Life’.
I have created a short public movie from the private livestream that we did at the weekend, to show just how inspirational these individuals are. QS is no longer about Jo, but instead about the Guides who have also used my template to find the freedom that is within all of our hearts. It is time to hand the reins over to a degree and allow this amazing community to come alive in many different and individual expressions.
