Today and this weekend can you let go of the details and do something else instead?
Can you tap into the bigger picture
Decide on the outcome that you want to experience and STICK TO IT
Make a pact with yourself and don’t go back on it
What is it that you are trying to achieve?
Write it down now on a piece of paper, or on your phone/laptop
It is well within your power
You can do it
What is holding you back?
Let them go
Stick instead with the intention
Place a hand now on your heart and vow to believe in you and your dreams
KNOW that you wouldn’t have those dreams if they weren’t yours in the first place; they’re in your head for a reason. Not everyone wants to give up the drink / drugs / sugar.
But you do
You know you deserve more
And NOW is the time
Imagine a balloon filled with what you are moving away from: booze / drugs / sugar / doubt / negative self talk / anger / the ‘sorry’s’ / the details
AND EVEN IF IT IS JUST FOR THIS WEEKEND
Cut the balloon tie now and watch as the difficulties of your life float away
You can choose to take them back again on Monday morning, but for today and the weekend you cannot. You are free of them.
