Learn Not To Cling To Temporary States Of Pleasure….

Every Wednesday I am sharing some WOW’s with you; my teachers; my influences and who I am inspired by.
I hope you enjoy!

HH Karmapa

“We need to learn not to cling to temporary states of pleasure or happiness, but continue to seek absolute and permanent happiness. And since we cannot achieve this through material means, we must seek it within our own minds.”

As addicts we are FORCED to learn this lesson, for we have been looking for pleasure and happiness in the wrong places for too long. Yet we are lucky that this imbalance has become so chronic, so that we long for something more permanent. Meditation will take us there; it offers all that we have ever been searching for, so why wouldn’t we sit on our cushion and make that commitment? Do join me today on the livestream (link below), I begin each morning at 8:30am GMT and the silent practice ends just before 9:30. Come and say hello!
