KNOW YOURSELF

Know when you need a break
Know when you need to rest
Know when you need to give yourself some slack
Know when you’re making excuses
Know when you’re self-sabotaging
Know yourself

(this picture was taken from the plane when I took myself to Spain just before Christmas, alone, to reset; because I know myself well enough to see the signs that I needed it)

Member Quote Of The Day:

Read here something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over in our lively private forum:

Christmas is hard. For so many reasons. So much to do. So much pressure. So bloody tired. I’m 450 days sober today and this is my second Christmas without drink. I thought it would be easier but it is strangely tougher. The little voice in the back of the head that says ‘you’re OK now’. But I’m stronger than that now. No fucking way. I thought a reminder about how really shit it had got would be helpful. So I looked out an old selfie. I thought it would be helpful to share it. Alongside a pic of me nowadays with my youngest when we had a day out on an open top bus and the London eye this summer. Just for fun. For REAL fun. I’m happier than I have ever been and you can be too. Keep going warriors. Big love x
