Read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

“It’s exactly three years ago today that I spoke to Jo and joined Quantum Sobriety. Three years ago that I did my first ever meditation and three years ago that I signed up for the residential retreat. 

I joined because I was absolutely desperate to give up the booze that had been destroying me for decades and because, on the phone, Jo inspired me to believe that it was possible. 

I remember in that phone call asking whether I should try to give up straight away or wait for the residential retreat. Jo, of course, answered with patience and teaching. Did I actually want to give up? Yes I did. Well hadn’t I answered my own question?! 

Deep down we all know the answers to our individual predicaments. Sometimes we need help seeing and understanding them and even when we know the answer there is choice: we can choose whether to see it or act on it. There is always choice and the responsibility for that choice lies with us. Making the right choices for ourselves can be scary. Sobriety comes from choice, belief, trust, courage and commitment.“
