How Can 👉 YOU 👈 Be More Consistent?

Daily Motivation 273

So, how consistent are you?
Do you start something off with great gusto, only to fizzle out a few days, weeks or months later? Or are you good to your word?

In my experience the more consistent we become the greater trust we develop and our lives begin to snowball in a positive direction. I’ll give you an example….

I am consistent in the delivery of this daily blog
In fact this is day 273
Back on September the 1st I committed to writing this everyday for a year, and even though I only did that because deep in my heart I knew it was the right thing to do, it still filled me with fear; well what on earth was I going to say for 365 consecutive days?!

However, because I have created the vessel, via the commitment, for the blog to manifest it has been mostly effortless. And what I suspect has happened on the receiving end of it is a level of TRUST. You know that I will deliver, day in day out, even when I am on holiday or having a ‘day off’. I also trust myself, I know I am good on my word and that gives me CONFIDENCE.

The knock-on effect of this is that I have decided to collate each blog written over the 365 day period and put them all into a book, so that they are easily accessed when you are in need of a splash of motivation.
And who knows what will happen on 1st September!
Will I continue?
Oh yes I will for sure, because now the words are so used to being expressed that it has become who I am; now can you see the parallels to sobriety?

YOU BECOME SOMEONE DIFFERENT
YOU CHANGE PERSONALITY
YOU SHIFT INTO AN ENHANCED VERSION OF YOU

Why would I stop?
This is who I am now.

I’ll give you another example:
Every morning I livestream my own meditation practice
Yesterday it was just for 15 minutes, yet most days I am there for between 30 and 60 minutes. You KNOW that I am walking the talk, you can see me doing it each morning!

Again you trust me because there is evidence of my congruency.
You know that what you are signed up to is real, not someone saying and doing the opposite.

So how can YOU be more consistent?
What can you commit to over the weekend, and beyond?
Are you meditating everyday?
If not, why not commit to five or ten minutes per day?
Make June the month that you take back control
And see how this consistency plays out in the rest of your life…

Member Quote Of The Day:

In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

❝I had a great day yesterday. All commitments met. I’ve got an old Uni friend staying with me at the moment. We haven’t seen each other for a couple of years. She said she has really noticed a change in me and hasn’t seen me so happy and positive about life for almost as long as she can remember (more than 35 years)!❞
