Heart Over Head Decision Gets Slammed 🚗

Daily Motivation 335

The BBC headline reads,
“Lewis Hamilton rues letting his heart rule his head at Hungarian Grand Prix”
And the ensuing article goes on to talk about the ‘conflict’ that Hamilton felt,

The decision to let his team-mate back past on the last lap, Hamilton said, was “more from the heart”.

“The mind is more cut-throat and ‘every point counts and this is do or die’. But my heart tells me the right thing to do is let him by,” he added.

“But it showed I am a man of my word and also that I am a team player. I am just as much a part of the team as anyone in it. It shows unity.

In life, if you do good things, good things come back to you so hopefully globally as a team in our good doing it will pay dividends.”

But still the conflict. Was three points a price worth paying for team harmony?

“I can’t answer that,” Hamilton said. “I lose the world championship; I don’t know what I would say then if it is by three points or in that vicinity. But as I said I want to win it the right way.”

I guess I’m shocked and heartened at the same time
Shocked that this made headline news
And heartened that Lewis Hamilton ‘gets it’

And this very small and pretty insignificant (in the world stage) event mirrors exactly the conundrum we are in, and I believe this will be the tipping point that we will witness in the coming years. The journey from head to heart has begun, and as a species we are waking up.

I often ask retreat guests when they arrive,
“How do you make decisions? From your head or from your heart?”
Think now about YOUR answer to that question
Go and write it down before you read the rest of this blog….

Many say,
“You HAVE to make decisions based on your head, or you’re never going to get anywhere in life”
And I have to say that although in our western society this has been how we’ve been taught, I wholly disagree with this statement.

We are in a time of great change
And we simply cannot do anything as we’ve done it before
We need to UNlearn it all
I wrote a blog called UnLearning back in mid 2014 (read it here) where I was really just beginning on this journey; looking back at my words from those years ago I am pleasantly astounded as to how far I have come. For I have debunked pretty much everything that I knew back then, by going through a releasing period in my meditations (the first meditation on the QS Online Programme is perfect for this and can be revisited again and again with different subjects/questions), and am now rebuilding my life based upon what my HEART says.

“But what about the head” I hear you ask!

This is how it plays out for me these days:
Get up write my blog without even thinking about it (subconscious writing)
Meditate
Do yoga (which then carries the frequency efficiently into all corners of my physical body)
Hold that vibration all day
Then
Stuff comes into my orbit: emails, requests, guests, phonecalls, family, conversations etc
I step back and observe it all as it comes in
I listen to my heart, and am guided to what she says
She communicates with me via FEELINGS and EMOTIONS:

Something feels good = do more of it
Something feels crap = stop, I am not in alignment with it

It really couldn’t be easier
And if something feels good and I get a ‘yes’ then that FEELING travels up to my head, and the brilliant computer that is stored there, to be dealt with.

HEART COMES FIRST
HEAD FOLLOWS!

What you will find is a life led by your heart is very different from the one you are used to which is governed by the head. Would you like:

  • More happiness
  • More opportunities
  • Greater understanding
  • More peace
  • Balance
  • Unity
  • Trust
  • Better health
  • Better sleep

For these are all things I have experienced once I switched to being guided by my heart rather than head, and I’d never go back. In fact reading this morning my blog from three years ago shows me just how much I have already evolved. It is exciting where we are heading, so answer me now:

“How do you make decisions? From your head or from your heart?”

I’d love to know what your answer was the first and second time I asked that; let me know….

Member Quote Of The Day:

In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

❝The gong wash at IG was amazing and everything I had hoped for. It was totally different to my previous experiences and I came out of it with some incredibly powerful images and feelings which permeated every cell in my body. When I got home I had to journal and try and draw what had come to me (not remotely successfully!). This morning I did the new meditation Jo has sent for my current month (The Ultimate Intention) and that has just connected to the same vibration already in me from the gong wash. Powerful stuff. Thank you sooooo much Jo de Rosa (and Dom the gong)❞
