Getting Into The Mindset Of Pronoia 😎

Daily Motivation 251

Jo, you say get into the state of ‘pronoia’ but I’ve never even heard of it!
Don’t worry neither had I until earlier this week, let me explain….

A client talked about experiencing extreme paranoia and I asked them what they thought was the opposite to it. They came back with a number of words, ‘trust’ ‘calm’ ‘love’ and ‘pronoia’; a word that Google provided as the opposite to paranoia.

“Pronoia is a neologism that is defined as the opposite state of mind to paranoia: having the sense that there is a conspiracy that exists to help the person. It is also used to describe a philosophy that the world is set up to secretly benefit people.”
Wikipedia

So it is a new term that is being more widely used and I, and my client, love it.
You may remember my blog last year called ‘The Quantum Conspires FOR You’ so this concept of pronoia is one that is not new to me for I absolutely believe that our natural state is one of pure love, pure acceptance, pure IS-ness. It is only our conditioned beliefs that create veils covering up this pure, natural and all-encompassing peace.

It is also used to describe a philosophy that the world is set up to secretly benefit people“; why does that FACT need to be secret? I want to shout it out from the rooftops!

“You can be happy”
“You can experience bliss”
“You don’t have to struggle any longer”
“You can have ANYTHING that you want”
“All you have to do is ask and you get”
“You are loved deeply”
“Believe in yourself, for I do”
“You are enough just the way you are”

So lets all shift into the mindset of pronoia today, and begin to build a life from fullness rather than lack, trust instead of suspicion and feeling good in ourselves as an alternative to paranoia.

Member Quote Of The Day:

In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

I think a lot of us may have used our substance of choice to try to soothe anxiety, and when it’s gone it’s so important to find newer, better coping strategies. I can see how important becoming the observer, as Jo wrote about yesterday, is in gaining some distance and realising that thoughts are not facts. Thinking of everyone today, and especially those who are struggling
