Concentrate On Your Own Journey 😍

Every Wednesday I am sharing some WOW’s with you; my teachers; my influences and who I am inspired by.
I hope you enjoy!

Matt Kahn

“Who you are to others is their journey. Who you are to yourself is yours.”

I totally resonate with what Matt says here
It is important and not something that we are generally taught
For we take on what the other says
We are self conscious as to how they perceive us
We care what others think of us
When really it is NONE of our business

Concentrate on your own journey
Don’t worry what the others say
For they see through their own cloudy judgements and beliefs;
Drop down into your heart
Respond to THAT direction
Acknowledge THAT voice
Answer THAT call
For no one else can hear what is YOUR truth
It is up to you
And that is your ONLY business…..

Member Quote Of The Day.

In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:

Been feeling cravings in the past few days. I just walked to the shop and the craving was like a mist. It was a mist of memories surrounding me.

It felt like a lot of occasions on a dark, autumn night, going to the shop with the intention of buying booze. However this time that was not the intention. I was just buying provisions for our dinner.

I remembered how it felt to be going to the shop to satisfy a craving, and later to buy more. I remembered the hell I felt in when waking the next day, I would have to go for a walk in the dark morning air to deal with my anxiety and panic.

These cravings aren’t serious. I know I will get to a year, which is 13/12/17. I have not meditated every day like I committed to in December 2016. I have not felt the need. I have been a lot more mindful and changed a lot. I am a different person. A changed for my better person.

I think the need is all too clear now. Meditating is the key to getting beyond 12 months sober. I know it.
