Today’s blog could possibly be the shortest ever
As all I really need to say is
NO
You can NEVER meditate TOO much!
But I will elaborate….
My number one piece of advice to everyone, no matter what your struggle, is to meditate. In relation to addiction; meditate instead of drinking, drugging, binge-eating = DIRECTLY REPLACE THE SUBSTANCE WITH MEDITATION.
My number one piece of advice to someone struggling in their relationship is to replace the struggle with meditation.
My number one piece of advice to someone struggling at work is to take that struggle into meditation and reflect on; why are you in a job that makes you feel that way?
My number one piece of advice to someone struggling with anger is to try to understand it during meditation when you separate yourself from it.
For none of the above struggles, or any others that you may be experiencing, define you
They are situations that you are in now
But itĀ can, and will, change whether you meditate or not, but if you do then the lessons will be learned a lot quicker.
But why?
Meditation connects you to an ultimate intelligence that is available to all of us
It’s there, waiting for us to be ready
And when you sit on your cushion and close your eyes
š„Ā BOOM š„
You just plugged in
And in the beginning it won’t feel like anything happened
But it did
Trust that
And go back for more tomorrow
And the next day
Everyday
Without fail
And then
At some point you noticeĀ a shift
Life gets lighter, less difficult, there is more ease in EVERYTHING that you do
But don’t stop!
Carry on with your practice
Everyday
Without fail
And then
You pierce the next level
And your whole life becomes even lighter
You experience more love, giving and receiving, seeing it EVERYWHERE
Your vibration has PERMANENTLY raised
You can no longer go back
Why would you want to anyway?
And this cycle continues
A higher and higher vibration
More and more love, happiness and ease
In the 20 years that I’ve been meditatingĀ I have constantly changed; my meditation practice ENHANCING who I am, allowing me to be the best I possibly can be.
So the answer is a resounding big fat
NO
You cannot meditate too much
In fact meditation will transform your life, reaching every single aspect, each corner of your being and you will never be the same again.Ā And so I implore you, PLEASE get on your cushion today, even if for just five or ten minutes.
I am in the process of recording a whole range of 15 minute meditation downloads, would you be interested?
In the beginning I listened to recordings of my teachers until my mind was stable enough to go it alone, it is great training. So let me know if you’d like to be notified when I have got the meditations online and ready…..
Member Quote Of The Day:
In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:
At first I thought I would not include my past. Basically I knew it would be or could be a painful experience.
I have 30 years to look back on. I was going to exclude it. But as I write it, to actually write down the pain and upset I had caused to my family, relationships and friends even my own daughter for her to grow up without a father. All caused by my abuse of alcohol and drugs.
I am a shamed of what I did.
I was discussing this with Jo and my sister at IG. I asked my sister What was I like? she replied ” An Animal!”
What a turn around in 19 months.
QS its worked for me,there is no doubt.
Stay strong, meditate and believe in yourself.
You are amazing.
Love and strength. xxā
