Every Wednesday I am sharing some WOW’s with you; my teachers; my influences and who I am inspired by.
I hope you enjoy!
Buddhism is found in many countries around the world and the May full moon marks the celebration of the birth, enlightenment and death of the Buddha. An excellent day to spend some time in reflection, whether you are a Buddhist or not, and open up to the ultimate reality that I was speaking about in yesterday’s blog.
The moon becomes fullest at 10.42pm tonight and you may find that issues in your life intensify and even come to a head today, and then watch as they start to wane with the path of the moon as it begins its own journey backwards again.
Perhaps there is something that you wish to ‘bring to light’?
A letting go?
What are you willing to offer to tonights full moon for her to shine her light upon?
Use this time wisely for there is added significance with the Buddha’s birthday; merit of good deeds is multiplied and what we are able to move on from today holds much potential for the coming year.
My Indian yoga teacher Sharat said this in his latest newsletter,
❝The full moon today marks the day Buddha got ENLIGHTENED – Such an important day for us all to CELEBRATE. The way, the path was made clear again & his teachings lives on to this day. He gave us the Dharma, the understanding of the nature of reality. This day we show appreciation for his endeavour to share his wisdom & rejuvenate our faith in his teachings❞
Member Quote Of The Day:
In this section you will read something that has been said by one of the Quantum Sobriety Online Programme members over on the very lively private forum:
❝Full Moon in Scorpio (today)… a good time to think about your deepest desires…. I want to purge myself of the old obstacles within me that keep me from true clear health and coming together with the right man.. Even thinking of saying No to coffee next month oooo-errr but that will take some serious Full Moon Ritual.. Been feeling a little bleurgh the past few days. On the plus side I have stayed off the sugar and dairy and last night I woke up and again went back to sleep
And when I think about alcohol it seems like a horrible harsh abrasive thing I absolutely and definitely do not want to ingest..❞
