EXERCISE 3️⃣ Why Are You Still Worrying About What They Say❓

🌙 Today at 2.58pm GMT is the February New Moon and a solar eclipse that comes with it. What this means is that we are really coming into the new energies and out of the clearing of the past couple of months. I know for me I thought that January 1st was going to bring the ‘newness’ that I was craving after the nine year cycle came to an end on 31st December, but the process has been a lot more drawn out than that. For me it has been quite exhausting as I have been called to ‘let go’ of so much ‘old’ energy, old beliefs and old ways of being.

NOW
Is the time to begin your quantum jumping into the life that you WANT
Because…
….the energies are there to support the process
YOU
Deserve the life that you dream of
A sober life
A happy life
A life that is fulfilling to you

For your dream is not the same as mine
Your dream is so UNIQUE
That no one else could ever match it
So
WHY ARE YOU WORRYING ABOUT WHAT OTHERS MIGHT THINK / SAY?

No one is coming from the same place
We each have consciousness
None of us are cloned
So it stands to reason that we are all going to have differing beliefs, feelings, emotions etc.

So
WHY ARE YOU WORRYING ABOUT WHAT OTHERS MIGHT THINK / SAY?
For they are never going to match your own perception.

Now I totally get this for I have been a ‘people pleaser’ my whole life
I have been a pacifier my whole adult life;
WORRIED about what others think of me
WORRIED about what others say about me

Add in a truckload of empathy and I’m also:
WORRIED about others’ feelings
WORRIED about the effect of my words and actions on others’ feelings

And do you know what?
IT’S FRIGGING EXHAUSTING!
AND I’VE HAD ENOUGH OF IT!
And so this is what I am throwing out in the wind today

This is part of my own current work:
Being so happy in my own skin
Being so happy in my own mind
Being so happy within my own breath
That it DOESN’T MATTER WHAT OTHERS THINK

Meditation brings me into my truth
Meditation brings me into my own uniqueness
Meditation brings me into a place where I AM ENOUGH just as I am, in the language of my heart; which brings me to my authenticity.

So why then would I want to be led away from that?
Why would I allow others to pull me from my truth?
This is the power of meditation, for it reinstates our truth over and over again; we come back to who we really are over and over again. And we realise that this is actually where we want to live our lives from.

EXERCISE:
At the end of your regular meditation practice we are going to quantum jump again in 3 steps:

  1. Get into the feeling of connection and truth
  2. Then take yourself into worrying about what others say; maybe it’s something you’ve said, written, or a new haircut. Stay here for between 30 and 60 seconds, noticing what your mind, body and breath do.
  3. Now quantum jump BACK into truth and your unique amazingness and take note of the changes that just happened to mind, body and breath. Remain here FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES so that this energy is the one that you take into your day / evening.
